About the AKDC

The Association of Kuwaiti Doctors in Canada was established in May 29th, 2018. It is a representative, educational and supportive association. We represent more than 400 Kuwaiti doctors continuing their postgraduate training in Canada.

AKDC Goals

  1. Represent Kuwaiti doctors in Canada to sponsoring agencies and bring forward ideas and suggestions to improve their scholarship experience.
  2. Support and guide current and prospective Kuwaiti medical trainees in Canada.
  3. Connect Kuwaiti physicians in Canada to exchange knowledge, experience and build strong connections.
  4. To participate actively in postgraduate medical education strategies in Kuwait, in order to improve Kuwaiti healthcare system.
  5. Establish and enhance strong connections with PGME offices in Canada.
